Facilities
Based in our home, we are registered to look after 12 children, according to Ofsted guidelines. We have a large designated playroom in which we have a selection of age appropriate toys, games, art and craft materials, books and musical instruments. Story time, craft activities, cooking, singing songs and music making, are all part of our daily activities on offer. The playroom also contains a very special pet, a young tortoise called Tallulah, who we hope your children will enjoy feeding and observing. There is a quiet room with a cot and large soft chairs and sofas for children to either sleep or relax and watch television. We have a large, secluded, secure garden which can be used all year round and where children can learn and play, as well as run around and ‘let off steam’. A trampoline, swing and climbing frame are just a few examples of things on which children can chose to play, as well as sand, water and den construction. We have a special fenced off, part of the garden with apple trees, designated to keeping chickens, which provide opportunities for children to learn about animals and the world around them. We hope your children enjoy feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs as much as we do!
